Trey went to his first day of nursery in the new ward yesterday. And then barfed all over.
This morning I locked me and CJ out of the house, in the rain, bare feet, with Trey inside. The spare key is inside the realtor's box. The cell phone to call the realtor is inside the house.
One long story and four frozen feet later we made it back inside where Trey had found comfort in the sugar bowl. It was everywhere. The dog is outside rolling around with a garbage can. The only thing making this Monday even more awesome is that Chad is out of town.

It sounds like the perfect way to start your week! I hope it gets better and that your hubby makes it back so you can have a break. Every mom needs to run away for a a couple of days, ecpecially for your birthday!

Hey, your birthday should be all about you and what you want. It's not like you're asking to escape your children for Mother's Day! What kind of jerk does that? Oh, right. Me.

DO IT! You deserve the break! Glad there was no real damage done with the lock out.

p.s. Why were you at a new ward? Did you sell your house?

I can't believe it!!! That is terrible! I locked me and the kids out last winter and had to climb in through the bedroom window. And it was soooo cold today, too!

I second the motion that you take some time out for your birthday. You know HRH would totally watch the kids. Go have some FUN!!!

After a day like that you deserve a break. There is nothing better then a little break even though sometimes you feel guilty leaving you always feel so much better when you get home.

I think you should ask for a "raise" i.e. extra birthday money:) That's what I do when things have been especially crazy. Hey, I saw your brother Cody and his super hot wife at Old Navy last weekend. I was going to say hi buy he probably doesn't remember me.
