Tonight CJ and I made apple crisp with real whipped cream. We ate half of it right out of the dish.

When I read, "until I finally pointed to the gigantic decal..." and realized you got involved in this skirmish my heart started to race. I thought FOR SURE you were minced meat. Whew! I'm glad your involvement helped them along and you no longer had to look at their "hungry bums."
I've never heard that expression before and I am honestly still laughing out loud.

Does CJ seriously still take naps? I thought I lost the nap war about a month ago. If you have a new battle plan I could try, PLEASE share your intel!

You make me laugh so hard. I now have a name for stretch pants on large people. I too have wondered about little kids out late at night. Were the people white trash? Thanks for always making me laugh. I really love your blog.

I'm impressed you held your tongue for 20 minutes, I don't think I could have kept quiet that long!

My boys are on a schedule. It's the only way we can make it to preschool by 9am.

Uh, I'm one of the guilty moms who doesn't put their kid to bed until 10pm....but in my defense her dad works late and I want them to spend time together. One the plus side, she doesn't wake up until 9am. I know this will all change when she's in school, but for now, she's on her mama's white trash sleep schedule. I suck!

I always wonder the same thing about bedtimes when we go to a 9:00 pm MOVIE and it is full of little kids...

Do you know how to solve your laminating dillema? Buy a home laminator (they are about 19 dollars) and then go to Office Depot and buy a box of laminating paper, in the light weight. It is about 30 dollars but has 300 sheets in it. I let my 7 year old go nuts with it and we still haven't used it all (and I was in primary). It is a great way to preserve a few of the great drawings they do, protecting pictures... etc.. You will be amazed how much you use it... ;-)

That's an awesome story. I also love the 'hungry bum' image. So freakin' gross. And I couldn't agree more about the wal*mart thing. I can't even go there anymore. I have panic attacks intertwined with rage: I want to scream at these people, "Why do you THINK she's crying?! It's 10:30 and she's three years old! Stop yelling at her to stop crying!!!"

I am just glad you didn't have to see the camel toe on the other side of the hungry bums! At least I hope not! Gross! Walmart does have some laminating stuff but it is kind of hard to find and isn't really that cheap...I am glad I read your comments because I do a lot of FHE laminating myself, I should definitely look into buying my own laminating machine!
